Root Data Center Office Interiors

This was an office interiors design developed for a start up company with a limited budget. They wanted a hip, industrial feel for their new Montreal office. We started with a large empty industrial building and divided it up into rooms and hallways. Because of the security needs of this business there would be no windows, thus no natural light. The logo colours determined my colour palette and I brought in a mix of inexpensive and industrial materials like corrugated metal, cement board, and raw wood to create the look. Standard office furniture was modified to look custom, the concrete floors were polished and art was made out of a construction pallet. A coat closet was designed to look like a packing crate and serves as a room divider, but can be rolled out of the way when one large space is desired. My clients are very pleased with the end result of this office interiors project.
