My client wanted to create a funky laundry room without having to cover up the furnace, hot water tank and pipes in her utility room. We were able to add storage and mask the larger fixtures with a storage/display cabinet facing the door as you enter the room. We covered the washer and dryer with a custom laminate counter in a stainless steel look for lots of work space. Upper cabinets have steel doors, while the lowers are in white to blend in with the front loading appliances. A pull out for essentials makes them super easy to access. The concrete floor was painted mustard and topped with a graphic Papilleno runner for comfort. Overhead lighting was added on the unfinished ceiling with spotlights on an industrial cable. A bright burnt orange subway tile backsplash completes the look of this industrial laundry room.
