Cottage Style Small Bathroom Remodel

This cottage small bathroom remodel exchanged dark stained pine for bright painted beadboard, a claw foot bathtub for a curbless glass shower, vinyl flooring for matte marble basket weave tile, and a wall hung sink for a roomy antique dresser turned vanity. The country charm was maintained but the bathroom was made brighter, more spacious feeling and more functional. To add the sense of space, the two sided glass shower was made curbless so the floor flows right through and the glass walls disappear. The original antique sink was placed on a painted antique dresser so that storage space was greatly increased. The toilet was replaced with a one piece, dual flush model with a sleek skirt to the floor. Additional lighting was added with two sconces flanking the antique mirror. A wooden high chair and a collection of antique medical tins add some country charm to balance the modern shower. This small bathroom remodel gave much needed style and brightness to this country cottage.
